Director of Development & Communications

Lesley is honoured to contribute to Aunt Leah’s . She brings a long history and a wide range of experience building organizations, programs, and communities of support to further social justice and environmental sustainability.

Her work is grounded in the alignment of program, resource development, and financial management to advance an organization’s capacity to make positive change. Working as both a consultant and senior staff, she has contributed to the success of community investment, fundraising and organizational change initiatives, including those of Tides Canada (now Makeway), Bloom Community Services, and managed innovative programs with Vancity Community Foundation, the YWCA and Immigrant Services Society.

In her free time, Lesley enjoys time with family and friends, her garden and outdoor activities. She volunteers as a member of the Violence Prevention Committee of Canadian Women’s Foundation, the Everett Crowley Park Committee, and leads Nordic ski adventures with Vancouver Skiers.
