Aunt Leah’s Urban Thrift features quality used and “pre-loved” clothing and accessories as well as an assortment of furniture and household items. Profits from this social enterprise help prevent children in foster care from becoming homeless, and mothers in need from losing custody of their children.

DONATIONS: Without your donations, we could not help so many people. Due to limited space and programming needs, we’ve had to shorten our list of donations. Please refer to our FAQ’s here for a complete list of items needed. For more info call: (604) 376-7238

DROP-OFFS: We currently accept donations at Urban Thrift and Aunt Leah’s Place. Because of their locations, we can only accept clothing and small accessories that you can carry in yourself, as there is limited access. Call 604-376-7238 for more information. PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF FURNITURE & ITEMS AT THE WAREHOUSE

PICK-UPS: For furniture pick-ups and large clothing/accessory pickups, please contact us regarding our donation pick-up schedule at 604-376-7238 for more information. Interested donors can also email Ali Andeku at aandeku@auntleahs.org. Images of donations can also be texted or emailed to Ali. (Please note: Pick-up dates are scheduled in advance and are limited.) 

HOW ARE DONATIONS USED: Items not sold at Aunt Leah’s Urban Thrift may be used to furnish suites for teens or new moms in our many programs.

RETAIL TRAINING PROGRAM: This program is currently on hold until further noticeSessions for the Retail Training Program start in September, January and April. Through this program, youth will get first job training learning sales and customer service skills.

VOLUNTEERS: We are also accepting applications for volunteer opportunities at our Urban Thrift Store. Please contact us if you would like to help with sorting, pricing and arranging donations and providing customer service. You can call our Volunteer Coordinator, Chloe Dunn, at 604-525-1204, ext. 224.
