Part- Time- 20 hours a week- Monday to Friday 12:30-4:30– $15.00- $20.00 an hour depending on experience– About the Position: Aunt Leah’s Society is hiring for the position of Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee all aspects of the financial and operational needs of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeper– • Prepare/Assist with daily journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations • Assist with monthly/year-end closings and preparation of monthly financial statements • Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable • Prepare tax computations and returns • Assist with payroll administration • Account/bank reconciliations • Oversight and tracking of all revenues • Reconcile all account/ banking transactions • Review and process expense, mileage reports • Perform daily routines and month end procedures • Assist with maintaining internal financial controls and procedure • Experience/knowledge with charitable taxes and donations • Preparation for annual external audits Office Manager– • Office inventory • Insurance coverage • Maintenance of office equipment • Liaison with vending partners • Some reception and employee queries required Desired Qualifications — • Experience in public/non-profit accounting, • Knowledge of Canada Revenue payroll requirements and • Charitable tax receipting guidelines are assets • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance • Solid knowledge of Quick Books Accounting Software • Prior experience in Payroll & Benefits/RRSP Administration is an asset • Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted principles, concepts, and best practices and procedures • Highly organized, detailed oriented and committed to quality work • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Superior computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook Additional Information and Requirements– • Applicants must be willing to undergo a criminal background check • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle~~ Salary Range: $15.00-$20.00/ per hour Contact firstname.lastname@example.org ATTENTION: Human Resources Manager

Aunt Leah’s Society is hiring for the position of Relief Residential Support Worker to cover shifts in a residence for teen mothers and their babies. Applicants must have post secondary education in the social service sector with a minimum of one-year experience providing support to moms and babies. Applicants must also have a valid First Aid Certificate prior to hiring. Shifts are 12.5 hours and applicants must be available to work overnight awake shifts.
